My Approach

“The you that you think is you is not you. It is a dream you...

In fact, the you that you think is you is a dreamer inside a dreamer inside a dreamer inside a dreamer...

You are the king of the universe who has fallen asleep and is dreaming that,

He is the queen who has fallen asleep and is dreaming that,

She is the prince who has fallen asleep and is dreaming that,

He is a sleeping princess.”

In every king there is a queen,

In every queen there is a son,

In every son there is a daughter,

In every person there is a star. ✨

∆ An Invitation to Awaken ∆

I view therapy as a mindful practice, infused with calmness and empathy, where I create a safe and non-judgmental space for growth and transformation. I understand the numerous existential challenges people face today, such as burnout, anxiety, and feelings of loneliness. My goal is to support you on your journey toward living authentically, embracing both your responsibilities and your freedom. In my practice, I prioritise openness and collaboration, helping you increase awareness and overcome the obstacles to a fulfilling life. I draw from various modalities, including Humanistic counselling, Psychodynamic therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural therapy, alongside holistic practices such as journaling, breathing exercises and movement.

Single Session Therapy is a focused, intentional space where we work with whatever is most present for you right now, without the pressure of ongoing commitment.

Whether you're feeling stuck, facing a big decision, or need a space to reflect and reset, SST offers therapy at the point of need (when it matters most)

This approach is based on the idea that one well-timed conversation can create real change. In fact, research by Hoyt and Talmon (2014) found that more than half of clients chose just one session, and 88% reported that it was helpful. It's a way of doing therapy that’s responsive, flexible, and built around your life.

Together, we’ll explore your concerns, identify what feels most important, and look at practical steps forward. Some people find one session is enough, others dip back in as new things come up. Either way, the aim is to make this time valuable in its own right.

Jungian therapy and Dream analysis

“Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.”
― C.G. Jung

On occasion, I integrate concepts from Jungian psychotherapy, which emphasises exploring the unconscious mind for personal growth and psychological wholeness. This approach fosters self-discovery and the integration of unconscious elements into conscious awareness. By examining our ‘shadow’ and the identities we project, along with our connections to symbols and myths, we can uncover deeper meaning and purpose.

In a session, we may explore dreams, use myths, fairy tales or imagination to reflect on your life narrative, engage in role play to confront challenging relationship dynamics, or address profound questions like “Who am I?” and “What is my purpose?”

Therapy can be both short and long-term, and I recognise that many people today may lack the time and financial resources for extensive treatment. That’s why I am training in Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH), which combines hypnotherapy with solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) techniques. This approach helps individuals focus on positive solutions rather than past problems.

Typically consisting of 6 to 12 goal-oriented sessions, SFH addresses various issues, including:

Stress and Anxiety - Depression - Phobias and Fears - Sleep Problems - Confidence and Self-Esteem - Weight Management - Habits and Addictions

In our sessions, we’ll begin by understanding your goals and your preferred future. Using Positive Psychology techniques, we will develop a solution-focused mindset and incorporate guided hypnosis to reinforce new perspectives.
